Agitator double seals, also known as dual seals, incorporate two sets of seal faces arranged in tandem or back-to-back configurations, with a barrier or buffer fluid system between them. This design ensures that aggressive, toxic, or highly pure process media is reliably contained, while secondary seals protect against atmospheric ingress.
